If I were now to "publish" my writing as books I would put out three:  (1) "The Most Number of Reasons Hillary Clinton Shouldn't Be President".  (2) THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM - a collection of political poems from early 1990s.  (3) A collection of blog posts here on jphogan.org and over years on threads on politico.com and newsbusters.org, etc.   How I would work in my over 700 faxes to the Bush White House using a NSC fax number to offer strategy and nuancing after 9/11 to those three or another is still something I ponder.  Some of "over 700" may include some faxes dating to Clinton admin when I got the number from a NSC advisor to Clinton.   And, of tale is my driving by The White House on 9/11/2001 at 8:45 am on way to install a new front door in Georgetown and with near "I have spent years now losing income trying to warn of dangers from Clintons policies, and last night I finally accepted I must have been wrong" and of "will now try to ignore old haunting thoughts of from the Clintons basing some of their moves on my old help/thinking/strategizing (but so selectively without consulting its author) and move on".   It is a complicated tale of how I was able to help Bush administration so for knowing how the Clintons had ...

I opened here on March 26,2009 with blog added about April 15th, 2009, and today April 10, 2010 have posted 227 columns with over 93,000 visits.

Please tell those who disagree with you about my blog location as at least a conversation starter.   I should seek a publisher and literary agent as many New York Times best sellers on politics recently would be at home with my three above mentioned books near ready with some "compilation" and with their contents having points and nuancing made at many times earlier than contents of recent best sellers, and with similar but older calls to earlier documents.   ******  It was back in late 2006 that I woke one morning with Time Magazine Editors in my head and overwelming my waking thoughts with queries of if they could have a picture of me for their cover.  I had been mostly only blogging as "uc" on newsbusters.org during 2006 and much so taking on all to argue for a "surge" and to defend the SURGE.  I still remember that morning like yesterday, though then hardly awake while saying "no", "no, but", "no - but if you put a mirror on your cover I will work with your intents" and, as "no" for you would have to tell the whole story and I am not half done, yet.  "uc" was a play when chosen as a play on "you see" and of my past more "ghost writing" spin that went national.

Picture is notable for of the early Ford Administration days and on a day President Ford helicoptered out just before my tour to go play golf with someone famous.  The pants were "second hand" and 'favorites' (Osh Kosh) corduroys with old wild west "most wanted" and "wanted dead or alive"  posters and articles over all fabric.   My choice for The White House tour that day, and as planned from day I packed in Connecticut.   I was then of a mostly Democrat neighborhood and family though as a "young Republican" later to call self more a "Reagan Democrat" and stay "unaffiliated voter" most of years. 

I have spent many years with such political thinking and writing though in past such was mostly privately shared by faxing or snail mailing.  In the early 1990's and towards then approaching 1992 Presidential races I mostly wrote political poetry as medium to encourage political spin by editorial columnist and others so professionally engaged.

I started publicly sharing such strategic thinking to give meaning and "locating" to much heard but less heard defined "new world order" while President Bush was considering going into Baghdad in early 1990s and easily a year before Governor Clinton ever entered such Presidential race. 

In such thinking were weaved much concern for changes for IBM, New Haven, Connecticut, our news industry and their old tired ways of reporting on race in America and our national politics.  I have a short collection compiled from such writing titled THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM and of such encouraging for the world economy and politics for America to become more evenly flat as "what we need is a more level playing field" and this while Thomas Friedman's predescesor was still the columnist in such spot at NYT and one of such posse I would send my political poetry to, voluntarily for effecting positive change.

I grew up wanting to be most like my maternal grandfather Arthur M. Menadier who retired in 1971 from near 25 years the "Mad Man" for Johnson & Johnson accounts.  I did also want to be some like my grandfather John W. Hogan Sr.  and as the oldest son of the oldest son but with older grandsons and grandaughters before me.  He was more a local Irish salesman and politician and of the "Hogan" character in L'il Abner comic strip by Al Capp from old boyhood friendship with such.  I also had honor of being a "summer son" (like adopted grandson) to Joseph V. Connolly Jr. and his wife Violette.  The Connolly's offered me room and board summers on Block Island many of those I spent building homes.  JVC Sr. was once the General Manager of Hearst Corp and King Features and of the years around CITIZEN KANE movie.

I will fill in here later on years as a home improvement contractor/general contractor hands on as sole proprietor with hands on in many trades and how much was learned my summers from Villanova earning my BA in Economics.  Such includes even boat repair and restoration as well as some welding for displays for skate board stores I was contracted to build out. I have been in business in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and in DC and area with DC, Maryland and Virginia licenses.
